The
Wenatchee River is Washington state's most popular Class
III whitewater fun. After leaving the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth
you'll hitch a ride down whitewater rapid Hobo Gulch then crank
it around Boulder Bend. Appreciate the uniqueness of this country
as you leave the Alp-like setting and end up in the desert. Keep cruising
and stay cool through Rock-n-Roll, Drunkards Drop, and
many more.
The Fall Color Tour gently glides down the 10
miles of river from Lake Wenatchee. Osprey and eagles are often seen
taking flight from their nests to catch fish out of the river. 3 hours
of easy rolling river for the whole family. Class I
Whitewater
The Wenatchee River Valley offers diverse scenery and excellent whitewater
rafting. Begin your trip in the alpine setting of Ponderosa Pine and
Douglas Fir near the "Bavarian Village" of Leavenworth. Marvel
at how the valley becomes increasingly arid and is near desert as it
reaches the Columbia River at Wenatchee. Irrigation in the valley is
the source of abundant water for the apple and pear orchards that line
the river. This type of river is characterized by what
we call a drop and pool river: great rapids like Boulder Bend, Rock
n' Roll, and Drunkards Drop which mellow into easy stretches
of gentle water. Corporate groups, families and friends come back here
year after year for the combination of great water and lots of sunshine. We offer
a wild 10 mile class III trip through the best rapids on the Wenatchee. The full
day trip is 19 Class III miles. 4.5 hours with a riverside lunch included. April thru August.

with nature from the beginning of this two day outing. Enjoy a relaxing float
into camp where we'll get set up and serve a great barbecue by the campfire.
This campsite has a very remote feel as only forests and the river surround
you. A big country style breakfast with fresh coffee greets you
in the morning and sends you off with lots of energy to take on the day.
A quick shuttle through spectacular Tumwater Canyon and a look at its "Class
VI" rapids get the adrenaline going for your day of thrills on the Class
III stretch of whitewater that lies ahead. Includes meals for both
days.
Wenatchee & Skykomish Doubleheader

whitewater thrills. The Wenatchee River flows from the Glacier Peak

Famous Class III rapids and big drops punctuate this river with names
like Rock-N-Roll, Drunkards Drop, Granny's, Snowblind and Gorilla Falls.
Stunning views of the Stuart Range on the East side of the Enchantment
Basin region of the Cascades will awe you as you float the slower sections
of this great river. Spend some time in the Bavarian style town of
Leavenworth before hopping in your car to drive across beautiful Stevens
Pass back into the big "Sky" country. The next morning we're
off to run the Class V rapids of Boulder Drop on the Main Skykomish River.
Each day includes lunch.
