When river rafting on the Sauk, remember that it is federally protected as a wild and scenic river system. The pristine mountain scenery and wildlife surrounding the area is untamed and will make its presence known. The water itself is a combination of snowpack and glacial melt, making for a beautiful green hue. Nearly continuous Class III to IV rapids run through large boulders creating great technical rapids like "Alligator Drop," "Jaws," and "Popeye." Darrington is where we meet to raft on the Sauk. Check out our Sauk River rafting rates, then make a reservation today.
