Alpine Adventures
Guide Training Program

Thank you for considering Alpine Adventures' Whitewater Raft Guide Training Program! Alpine Adventures is certified by the American Canoe Association and we've been training guides on Washington whitewater for years. Our Raft Guide Training Program is among the toughest and most thorough in Washington State. Unlike many training programs, our trainees receive a training manual to aid in their education and life-long learning. Our instructors are among the best in the business and teach all aspects of river rafting on Washington State's premier whitewater rivers including the Skykomish, Wenatchee, Methow, Skagit, Sauk, Tieton, and Green Rivers. Guide training usually starts midddle to end of April and lasts 5 weekends (both Sat & Sun), through the end of May just in time for summer rafting season. This 5-week whitewater rafting guide training program is designed for those interested in private boating/rafting or commercial raft guiding. The skills learned in our program meet or exceed the State of Washington Outfitter Licensing requirements and include:
